Role Overview
The Senior Field Marketing Manager – UK is responsible for driving sales revenue growth across the United Kingdom through a strategically balanced marketing plan focused on new customer acquisition and market share expansion. This role prioritises lead generation and delivering real-time event management (including trade shows, lunch-and-learns, webinars)
Acting as a marketing advisor to the UK Sales Leadership Team, this position ensures marketing strategies align with country-specific business objectives. The role reports to the Growth & Field Marketing Director for Northern Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Market Intelligence
- Develop a comprehensive market understanding, including the competitive landscape and market challenges
- Identify key competitor strategies and establish compelling, differentiated market positioning
Marketing Planning & Execution
- Create marketing plans aligned with the central strategy and local market requirements
- Drive integrated marketing campaigns that deliver growth by leveraging ESI and global resources or developing bespoke solutions tailored to the target market
- Manage the budget allocated for growth initiatives
- Forecast, measure, analyse, and report on programme impact and ROI
Sales & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with sales, enablement, and country management to establish shared ownership, coordinated activity calendars, and success metrics
- Communicate and educate sales teams on new and planned marketing activities across global, regional, and local programs
- Develop (with sales) target account strategies supporting account-based selling approaches
- Maintain active involvement in marketing communications
Content & Product Marketing
- Collaborate with regional product marketing to develop tools, programme frameworks, training, and content highlighting local products
- Localise global marketing assets appropriately and develop case studies for reference clients, sales collateral, and selling tools
- Review and adapt marketing assets to ensure local market relevance
Partnerships & Events
- Partner with the public relations team and local PR specialists to generate relevant stories and increase coverage
- Evaluate, select, and manage local physical and virtual event vendors contributing to demand creation programs
Required Skills & Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of sales and marketing best practices
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities with proven ability to build credibility and earn respect across all organisational levels
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence senior stakeholders
- Proven track record in integrated marketing campaign development and execution
- Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies
This role is based in the South-East and will be required to be in the office (TW18) 3 times a week.
